Help

Introduction

In this section, we will go over some questions and answers on troubleshooting for your device. The only equipment we provide support on this website is the Ingenico line-up, the POYNT terminals, the Talech Elo All-in Paypoint station, and the Epson TM-L90 / TM-T88Vi printers. All the paper roll related topics will go over specifics on short-cuts.

Troubleshooting:

1. What if the thermal paper roll sizes are too big?

Answer:
Unravel the desired length and recycle the unused portions on a new empty roll spool. If this is too time-consuming consider carefully next time the exact dimensions before purchasing new paper roll supplies.

2. What if there is a paper jam?

Answer:
Open the cover, remove the paper jam and re-insert the new thermal paper roll.

3. What if the cover falls off?

Answer:
Look at the connecting track guides. Re-insert the cover.

4. What if the device I am using is frozen or has an error message(s)?

Answer:
Reset the machine. Press the yellow and # key if you are using the Ingenico devices at the same time for at least 5 seconds. You can also unplug the power completely and wait for 10 seconds. Restart the device. For the POYNT terminals hold the power button behind the device. If the Epson printer is frozen try removing debris inside, turn off the power and reset the device.

If hypothetically all the above fails, try contacting customer support for your current provider and get your device replaced. You would only want to do this as a last resort.

5. How to feed the paper?

Answer:
Hold the yellow button for a few seconds for the Ingenico models ICT220/250 IWL220B/250G. On the Desk/Move/5000 models press the paper feed button. On most Talech and Epson devices, there is a feed button. The POYNT terminal is fed through options in the settings menu.
